Simple

Retail staff can often be under a lot of pressure, so it is vital that the MFD is easy to use and fast to deploy. A simple four step wizard guides the user through setting up an MFD in less than two minutes, and of course because the units are portable they can be deployed anywhere in store.

The MFD setup wizard is an integral part of our DVR software. Viewing live and recorded camera footage is intuitive, and exporting video to CD for the police has been made as simple as possible. With EPOS integration you can also interrogate checkout cameras for suspicious transactions.

Powerful

Retailers have the least control over their assets once they are out on the shop floor. The only way to prevent the theft of hot products is to lock them away where customers cannot access them. This approach sacrifices sales, so our major client was looking for a way to identify when hot products were picked up.

Working with the client's loss prevention department we developed the Multi-Function Detector (MFD). The MFD clamps discretely underneath a shelf and sends a wireless alert when a product is picked up. This alert can be used to move a CCTV camera or page a security guard on the shop floor so that it can be investigated.
