Try our new DVR storage calculator

How much storage do you need in your DVR? This has always been a very difficult question to answer. The correct amount of storage not only depends on the number of cameras and the amount of time, but also on factors such as the frame rate, recording mode and how busy your environment is.

Our new storage calculator goes some way towards providing a rough guide to the amount of storage you need when specifying a CCTV system with QS equipment.

On the whole the calculator can be used to estimate the storage capacity required on any brand of DVR, however Quick Solutions’ proprietary AZTEC compression algorithm makes a real difference when recording high definition IP images. You can save up to 85% in file size when recording from a megapixel camera.

New MFD Starter Kits!
Our Multi-Function Detector range now features two stand-alone MFD starter kits that can be deployed without a Quick Solutions CCTV system. Supplied in a robust flight case for durability and portability, the MFD system can now truly move with your threats.

The kit is supplied in two forms:

Paging Option

The basic option comes with four MFDs and sends a pager message whenever an alarm is triggered. The system is ideal for small retailers without the need to integrate with a CCTV system.

CCTV Integration Option

The CCTV Integration Option also accommodates up to four MFDs, but also allows you to connect the system to your existing CCTV equipment. The system is compatible with any existing digital video recorder with four spare digital alarm inputs.

Whenever a MFD is triggered, one of four alarm outputs are activated. Through your own system you can then switch spot monitor outputs, direct PTZ cameras or generate alerts as appropriate.

You can optionally add paging functionality to this system too.

For more information about the kits, and how MFDs can help transform your business, visit the product page at www.quicksolutions.co.uk/mfd.aspx. You can download system specifications, user manuals and more.
